After School Anomalies
10-week team project: My team and I created a game where the security guard (player) has to find as many anomalies as possible and reset them before time runs out.
Concept Art
In my team, I was responsible for the concept art, modeling, and surfacing of classroom assets and additional elements (walls, floor, lights, and ceiling). I created concept art for all assets, including turnarounds for our game, and assigned assets to specific sections (classroom, hallway, and office) using Procreate.

Poster Designs
During our team milestones, we received feedback to add more assets to the school environment as it appeared bare. I was responsible for creating in-game posters to make the environment feel more lived-in. My team and I decided to set the school range from middle school to high school, which helped us narrow down the poster topics and designs.
Models
Here I modeled all the classroom assets including the walls, ceiling, floor and lights using Maya 2024.
Surfacing
Here are the surfacing passes for all the classroom models (including floor, ceiling, wall and light) models using Substance Painter.
UX/UI Design
I used inspiration of my title cover art I made for the game and used it as inspiration to create the different menus and setting options for the player to access using the same camera art theme. Since the game my team and I made was a camera-based game, it was fitting for the design to be correlated to the theme as well.
I was in charge of creating the UX/UI Design for the game. Since the game is a camera-based game, I created little camera icons to be the buttons to switch between rooms and labeled which room the camera was for as an easy indicator which room belonged to each camera.
I created the title screen for our "spot the difference" game, where the player, as a security guard, must find anomalies before time runs out. This concept inspired me to design the title menu, incorporating a magnifying glass to highlight the "spot the difference" mechanic. Additionally, I included the school environment and the security guard at the center, reflecting the game's setting and role.
Visual Slices & Technical Demo
Here is the Visual slice and Technical Demo of my team and I’s game of my portion of the model environment for the game using Unreal Engine.
